On Saturday May 29th, East End Mutual Aid (EEMA) will be having its first orientation for people interested in learning more about the group or getting involved with the group.
EEMA is an organization made up of residents of the East End neighborhoods of Bloomfield, Garfield, Friendship and East Liberty and is committed to building and implementing community-based solutions to problems we all face. At the orientation, we will discuss what EEMA’s mission is, how it is organized, and various ideas for future projects. We encourage others to come with their own ideas about what they would like to see for their neighborhoods and how to make mutual aid a more common practice within our communities. If you are interested in coming to the orientation, meet us in Friendship Park in Bloomfield on May 29th at 1pm. In the event of rain, call us at (412) 385-EEMA (3362) for the alternate location.

Wish I could come, but I’m out of town! Best of luck.
